Entrepreneur. Unemployed.
Zuhayr R. Zhanoff (Zuhayr Abdullazhanov) studied Computer Engineering at the University of Hong Kong and completed a double degree program in Computational Science and Finance at Bard College New York. His areas of research include Recommendation System Algorithms and Big Data.
He has a deep connection with Central Asia, as he was born in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Zuhayr worked at Deloitte and IBM Research Center, which he is not proud of. He co-founded TAIL AI, which was later acquired — something he considers a failed startup.
His areas of interest include Financial Market Analysis and deploying strategies to manage his portfolio. He is also interested in History, as he believes patterns always repeat and history teaches us those patterns.
Zuhayr believes in tech power and that the future of our world is technological advancement. He started selling books on Amazon during his college years (to support himself) and later found an interesting pattern in data storage, which led him to found SIML INC. — the company he is currently working on.
He has traveled to 16 countries, speaks 5 languages, and plays real football (he refuses to call it soccer). He is also a big fan of UFC.
And yes, he did all this before turning 21. And he never considers it success.
